It also ships with a ceiling mount, an extra lamp for future replacement, and a cable cover that snaps over the rear connection cavity.

The 5050 is a 4K and HDR-compatible projector. As such, it can accept 4K and HDR signals, though keep in mind that no projector can do HDR very well.

Inside the menu system, you will find a whole host of options allowing you to calibrate and adjust the image to your liking.

There is the lens iris option useful when viewing SDR content. The 5050UB has three lamp modes, giving you an additional way to alter the amount of light leaving the projector.

Connections And Controls:

For connections, the 5050UB features the two aforementioned full bandwidth HDMI 2.0 ports.

Buying Guide For The Best Budget Projector

In this paragraph, I am going to talk about choosing a budget home theater projector. I have broken down this into a few different categories, the categories are as follows:

Room Size: The very first thing you need to consider before buying a projector is the size of your room and thats because depending on what size screen you want you may not have enough space as the projector needs to be a certain distance from the screen.

Brightness: Projectors for a home should have brightness luminosity in the range of 1500 to 2000 lumens.

Resolution: Resolution range from 480p on the low end to 720p and 1080p for HD viewing, and also up to 4k Ultra HD for sharp movies and shows.

You will get the best image quality when you match the projector resolution to the resolution of the video source you plan to use most often.
